JOY

When I think about what brings me joy, I must think about it for a moment. It is not something that usually comes easily to me. I find myself more into pain and suffering these days than actual joy. If I really had to pinpoint something that brought me joy it would be the smiles and laughs of those around me. There is something so heartwarming when it comes to bringing happiness to others. The trick is how do you bring that happiness to the people you surround yourself with. Especially when you are more than likely going to end up hurting yourself or the relationships you make.

I guess this is where my journey of self-reflection begins. Reflecting on how I can be more to myself and to the people around me. Self-reflection has never been one of my strong points I’m more often looking out than looking in. I suppose it is time for some house cleaning instead of gazing out the window that Is my life. Asking myself the questions on how or why I got to this place to begin with. Finding the things that I want to keep the same vs the things that I need or want to change.

I hope you stay with me while I start this journey.

The end will hopefully be more than worth it.
